A great book to read and apply what you learn。

The final chapters stood out for me。 Enlightening and a reminder that we control our emotions, and therefore, our happiness。 Not external events。

Tony Robbins is very direct and honest。 I love his teaching styles and how he empowers and inspires his readers。 He basically states, "You are a reflection of all of your past thoughts and actions。。。but you are not your past!" This book helps realize where you are stuck and teaches you how to take action and change your life。 Tony Robbins is very direct and honest。 I love his teaching styles and how he empowers and inspires his readers。 He basically states, "You are a reflection of all of your past thoughts and actions。。。but you are not your past!" This book is a great companion to The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg。 Tony touches on the fact that what you are doing has become a habit and you have to change that habit。 He uses the reference pain or pleasure to create examples that may be easy for the reader to follow。 The book also reinforces the concept from The Secret。 If you continue speaking something into existence it will happen。 If you are a firm believer that you dictate your future by controlling your self talk this is a good boo This book is a great companion to The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg。 Tony touches on the fact that what you are doing has become a habit and you have to change that habit。 He uses the reference pain or pleasure to create examples that may be easy for the reader to follow。 The book also reinforces the concept from The Secret。 If you continue speaking something into existence it will happen。 If you are a firm believer that you dictate your future by controlling your self talk this is a good book to read。 。。。more

Done reading with this book。 Such a powerful influencer must say。 Took me a while to finish this book because of its high page count。 I knew that Robbins has power to amaze readers through his words but when I started to read this book I was more than excited and it took me completely to another level。 He has been an inspiration to many people out there。 I would love to highly recommend this book who is searching for change in themselves and wish to discover their full potential。 This book helps Done reading with this book。 Such a powerful influencer must say。 Took me a while to finish this book because of its high page count。 I knew that Robbins has power to amaze readers through his words but when I started to read this book I was more than excited and it took me completely to another level。 He has been an inspiration to many people out there。 I would love to highly recommend this book who is searching for change in themselves and wish to discover their full potential。 This book helps you to transform completely into new person。 Remember that you are who you thought to be。 You are who you think of。 。。。more

I absolutely loved this book and would give it 4。5 stars if I could! I learned and grew so much throughout this book - The only “problem” for me in this book was his very outdated case studies and examples, and I would have liked to see some of those updated in this 2013 edition (especially because he had taken the time to update his bio to include his second wife’s name rather than the first mentioned throughout the book)

10/10 - I didn't realize I purchased and listened to the abridged version so I'm a bit upset about that, but on the other hand, it was still incredibly inspiring and powerful。 Must read (and re-read)。 10/10 - I didn't realize I purchased and listened to the abridged version so I'm a bit upset about that, but on the other hand, it was still incredibly inspiring and powerful。 Must read (and re-read)。 。。。more

I'm struggling with some personal discipline issues so I turned to this book for guidance。 But 70 pages in, all the information is what I have already known beforehand。 Even though I greatly admire Tony Robbins, this book is not the one for me at this stage in life。 I may or may not pick it up again later, we'll see。 I'm struggling with some personal discipline issues so I turned to this book for guidance。 But 70 pages in, all the information is what I have already known beforehand。 Even though I greatly admire Tony Robbins, this book is not the one for me at this stage in life。 I may or may not pick it up again later, we'll see。 。。。more

Too 。 mainstream。 Not relevant for constant readers of self-development books。 Very generalized concepts

A very dense book but interesting。 An interesting way to create change in your life by doing some lf the exercises included such as; who am I? The chapter on how the vocabulary we use influences us a lot。 Definetly a book that makes you think but as I said its very dense which can make some parts hardgoing or a little boring。

I'm not a fan of "self-help gurus" and motivational speakers in general。 I have to admit though that I enjoyed this book and found much of its contents based on sound behavioural science。 Particularly good is starting with values and beliefs then moving on to decisions, actions then analysing outcomes。 Good advice。 I'm not a fan of "self-help gurus" and motivational speakers in general。 I have to admit though that I enjoyed this book and found much of its contents based on sound behavioural science。 Particularly good is starting with values and beliefs then moving on to decisions, actions then analysing outcomes。 Good advice。 。。。more

Why was I reading a Tony Robbins book you may ask? Or I at least ask myself。When the pandemic struck and Tony started to do his seminars online, I thought, why not go and see for yourself, from the comfort of your living room。 It felt like a win-win。 Needless to say the opportunity to attend a free event, then go on to pay for a UPW event unfolded。 I loved it。 I broke through a few mindset goals that I didn’t even know I needed to breakthrough and wanted to continue learning the psychology behin Why was I reading a Tony Robbins book you may ask? I loved reading the book, I normally run for the hills when I see a 400 page book, this was nearing 500 pages, and I told myself one chapter at a time and I believe that is how the book is meant to be read。 In stages。 You have to soak up the philosophies shared, the theories the concepts and decide for yourself。 Should I try it, or not? I’ve tried quite a lot of the suggestions。 I came to no harm and am learning something new every day。 Tony Robbins's concepts won’t be for everybody, but the energy in this book and the insight, it is certainly worth the read, and I had wished I hadn’t been so afraid of confronting a 400plus page book in my 20s because I would have certainly learned how to become more decisive sooner if I had。 If I could only choose to possess 5 books in my life, this book would certainly be one of the 5 of them。 It encourages the values for kindness, caring, giving and thriving, being passionate and 。 。 。Do you know what I am going to say?I highly recommend you read it for yourself, one chapter at a time or twenty pages a day, make it a habit and see what you conclude when you get to the end of this once upon a time international bestseller。I believe it is a worthwhile read。 I have become quite the Tony Robbins fan。 。。。more

This book is really inspirational and supportive。 At the end of the book, you'd feel like you and Tony Robbins are actual friends。 It gives actual life experience examples from the author's life himself on what goals you may want to include or how gigantic your dreams could be。 It also pushes you to act now, while reading it, and not later when you finish it。 This is my second Tony Robbins book and both of them gave me fire to push myself to get my butt up and do something to go get my shit toge This book is really inspirational and supportive。 At the end of the book, you'd feel like you and Tony Robbins are actual friends。 It gives actual life experience examples from the author's life himself on what goals you may want to include or how gigantic your dreams could be。 It also pushes you to act now, while reading it, and not later when you finish it。 This is my second Tony Robbins book and both of them gave me fire to push myself to get my butt up and do something to go get my shit together。 I would probably need to keep this handy and read this again when my laziness wins me over, so I can hear Tony Robbin's husky voice pushing me to go, go, go。 。。。more

Without a doubt one of the best books I've ever read in my life。 I can honestly say it truly changed me。 I have read many motivational/self-help/LoA books over the years but none have ever affected me like this。I particularly loved how Robbins describes the emotions of Pain and Pleasure being attached to everything。 We do things easily because we associate them with pleasure but put things off because we associate them with pain。 This goes for all aspects of our lives。 An example of this he uses Without a doubt one of the best books I've ever read in my life。 I can honestly say it truly changed me。 I have read many motivational/self-help/LoA books over the years but none have ever affected me like this。I particularly loved how Robbins describes the emotions of Pain and Pleasure being attached to everything。 We do things easily because we associate them with pleasure but put things off because we associate them with pain。 This goes for all aspects of our lives。 An example of this he uses that really resonated with me was: if your significant other is complaining that you don't call them every day and then the times you do call they say, 'oh you finally have time for me' etc。, you are now going to associate the call with pain rather than pleasure because even when you do call every day you are still getting pain from those comments and so will begin to resent the other person。 It covers pretty much all aspects of our lives and gives us tools to deal with our emotions and manage them so that we feel positive emotions far more than negative ones。 Truly inspiring。 A must read! 。。。more
